Dove Oxygen Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner.

Dove Advanced Hair Series Oxygen Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner (£5.99 each, Superdrug).

My hair is naturally thin, flat and dull, lucky me! I like my shampoo and conditioner to combat this to make my hair look thicker, voluminous and healthy. When I saw the adverts for the new Dove Oxygen Moisture products I couldn't wait to try them. But then I saw that they were £5.99- I don't do spending (what I would consider to be) a lot money on shampoo and conditioner so I waited until they were on half price offer in Superdrug. So what's this 'oxygen moisture' business all about...

"Oxygen and moisture is a new Dove generation using Oxyfusion technology. This range, made with lightweight oxygen-fused conditioning ingredients, moisturises flat, limp hair while adding upto 95% more volume."

So does it deliver? Ermmm...not really, no. The shampoo and conditioner feel super light on the hair and don't weigh it down which is a pro; and it makes your hair smell nice. But that's about it really- I don't feel like it adds any volume whatsoever, leaving my hair as flat as it naturally is. Overall, I'm unimpressed and don't think I'll be buying these again in the future. I'd deffo recommend the L'oreal EverPure Colour Car and Volume Shampoo and Conditioner and I think I'll be sticking with them for the foreseeable future. August Favourites.

This last month has gone so fast! That's deffo because it's been the best month of 2014 for me (so far!) with our engagement, my beloved starting work, our holiday etc! On reflection I've tried and loved loadsssss of products this month so it was difficult to narrow it down to a few favourites. Here goes...

Avon Big & Daring Mascara- love this mascara. It gives you big fluttery bold lashes with minimum effort.

Topshop Lip Bullet in Call Me Queen Be- my new favourite lippy, it's like a wintery version of my beloved MAC Kelly Osbourne lippy in Dodgy Girl.

Avon EDP in Luck- my new everyday perfume this is sweet and sophisticated and gets loads of compliments!

Tangle Teezer- my hair saviour! 

Avon Eyeshadow Duo in Deep Wine- this has been my go-to eyeshadow set on my days off, the colours are super grungy and have amazing colour payoff. 

Rimmel Brow This Way in Dark Brown- screw you Benefit Gimme Brow, this bad boy brow setting gel is the one for me.

Avon Magix Multi-Benefit Illuminator- illuminating highlighting concealing genius.

Tangle Teezer.

Tangle Teezer (£9.99, via Avon).

I've always wanted a Tanlge Teezer but I've never been one for spending a lot of money on my hair products. The thing to convince me was that Avon were selling it so I knew I had to get involved. I've got quite fine hair which knots easily when I sleep on it and in the past I've lost loads of hair through brushing when my hairs been damaged. Thankfully my hairs in a better condition now but this is great for brushing my hair.

I really like the way this looks- it's perfectly 'ergonomic' and fits in the palm of your hand like a dream! I love the black and pink combo- two of my favourite colours. The genius of the Tangle Teezer is that the bristles are all different lengths and work through any knots rather than dragging against them. Honestly, this has changed my hair life! No more attacking knots with combs to losing chunks of hair for me! I'd deffo recommend this to replace allllllllll of your hairbrushes. Thanks for stopping by x

Garnier Ultimate Blends Silky Smoothers.

Garnier Ultimate Blends Silky Smoother Shampoo (400ml £3.89), Conditioner (400ml £3.89) and Polishing Scrub (£4.49) (currently all half price in Boots).

Garnier have recently launched a new hair-care range entitled Ultimate Blends, catering for a variety of hair types and needs. Me being me, I went for the one that had my favourite scent (vanilla). The Silky Smoother range is targeted at "mid long hair with split ends", which is something I experience when my hair is overly processed (by me lol). They contain a blend of vanilla milk and papaya which just sounds divine! 

The shampoo and conditioner combo are lovely and leave the hair feeling silky soft and smelling delish! The Polishing Scrub is the product that intrigued me the most though- an exfoliator for your hair? Surely not! You better believe it chums! The idea is that you rub this onto the mid lengths to the ends of your hair to remove any split ends with the exfoliating particles. Then you leave it on for 1minute to soften and smooth your hair; I think this is a lovely treatment but I'm not 100% convinced it gets rid of split ends. I dunno, I'm just skeptical! These larger sized shampoo and conditioners were on offer recently so I bought another range to try so I'll keep you posted on that. Let me know if you've tried them and what you think! February Favourites.

I can't believe that it's already time for my February Favourites- I know it's a short month but gosh it's gone quick! I've been loving loads of products this month but some of them I've been reaching for pretty much every day. 

Revlon Colorburst Matte and Lacquer Balms- I've pretty much worn one of these every day off I've had this month. I love both formulas and find them super smooth and long lasting. My number one fave shade is Shameless (matte dark purple) but it does require a fair bit of touching up throughout the day, as do most dark shades as you notice fading more. I also love Provocateur (lacquer bright red) and I've been clashing it with pastel and monochrome outfits. 

Dainty Doll Cream Blusher in 001- after doing my Shopping The Stash post recently, I fell in love all over again with this blusher. It's the most beautiful pastel pink and it lasts all day long. I think it's perfect for Spring/Summer especially as I've been wearing brighter and bold lip clouds recently. 

Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Oily/Combination Skin- this has been on my face pretty much everyday this month. I've been super impressed with it's staying power so it's perfect for wearing for work. I also love the flawless matte finish it gives but I HATE the packaging. It gets really messy without a pump and it's super annoying putting it on when you're half asleep getting ready for work at 5.30am (ew).

L'oreal Studioline Txt Volume Supersizing Spray- never have I loved a hair product as much as I love this. I've literally used it on all of my days off since I bought it. It makes my hair look super beschy and messy without making it hard or stiff. It give a matte finish which I love and you can just scrunch your hair up through the day and it holds. No more back combing for me!

L'oreal Paris Studio Line Txt Volume Supersizing Spray (PRICE, Boots).

Since having my hair cut, I've noticed how flat my hair actually is! My hair naturally dries with a wavey kink in it but there's no root lift whatsoever- it's totally flat to my head. Normally I just put a bit of dry shampoo in it and ruffle it up but this can leave a build up after a few days between washes. I saw this in Boots on offer, basically buy one get one free, and couldn't resist.

The Txt Volume Supersizing Spray claims to give "texturised matte volume" with its formula containing micro-powders. I bought and liked a styling powder a while ago and love it but found it a bit messy to apply. This is the perfect alternative as it's super easy to spray onto your hair, just like any other hairspray. What I love about this is the matte texture it gives my hair- I personally hate that "just washed" feeling of my hair and find it impossible to style when just washed. This spray gives that bed head look and feel without making your hair feel stiff or having to back comb it to within an inch of its life! You don't need to spray much on, I focus it on the roots, and then you can just keep scrunching it up throughout the day to keep the look. You could make your hair totally massive with this for a night out and it'd be great for making a beehive style!

If you want shiny sleek and glossy hair, don't buy this! If you want grungy messy hair then step right up! I have fallen in love with this product and I'm literally using it every day. Have you tried this product? Let me know what you think. Thanks for stopping by x

My Lilac Ombré Hair.

I thought I'd share with you my lilac ombré hair routine for dying my hair. I started my ombré hair journey by having a consultation with my hairdresser- based on past experiences with bleaching my hair I wanted to make sure it was in good enough condition before I bleached it again. Then I had my hair bleached at the hairdressers as I didn't feel confident enough to get an even line of ombré myself! I now dye my lilac hair myself probably once a fortnight as its super high maintenance. Im not a hairdresser or qualified in anyway but this is just how I do my hair! So here's how I do it...

1. Preparation. This means wearing clothes you don't mind getting hair dye on, using an old towel around your neck and shoulders and getting everything out ready before you start. I've included a picture below of the products I use for dying my hair. You can use washing-up gloves but I like these disposable ones as they were about 99p from Home Bargains and you can just bin them when you're done. I personally use Crazy Colour hair dye in Lavender and Marshmallow- they're £4 each directly from the brand but are also available in Sally's traders or on eBay. I make sure I take the lids off the hair dye before I begin for minimal mess once I've got dye on my hands!!

2. Lets get messy! Now it's time you get your mess on! Now, there's no fixed amount of dye needed but use your common sense- it needs to cover your hair well. I apply the Lavender shade first, rubbing and smoothing it on to my hair to make sure that it covers all the strands. Then I personally put a little Marshmallow over the top and rub in to add some contrasting colour. Now, I know some people mix their hair dye in with conditioner and apply to the hair but my hairdresser said that this doesn't make sense as conditioner closes the hair so it won't absorb maximum dye- so I'm not sure wich is the best way tbh! Anyway, this works for me!

3. Waiting and washing. So Crazy Colour suggests you leave it on for 30mins but I'd say upto an hour is fine. Then you need to rinse it off until the water runs clean then condition your hair to keep it super soft and shiny. I look after my bleached hair using the Osmo Intensive Deep Repair Mask on a weekly basis because bleach does ruin your hair! Top tip: if you get hair dye on your skin, use nail varnish remover on a cotton wool ball to get rid then moisturise! It's not the best for your skin but it does get rid of unwanted skin dye! If you do get hair dye on your mums beloved bathroom then it should come out with good old cleaning bleach. 

I hope you like the finished results! Be warned if you wanna attempt this that lilac hair doesn't last very long- after a couple of washes, it fades to a silvery blonde which I quite like but I know it's not as bright or purple as it initially is! It's quite high maintenance but I love the way it looks. Thanks for stopping by x

Wowzers what a haul! I bought these products from London when I went on my mini shopping trip this weekend. I bought the mini dry shampoo and deodorants because they were on 3for2 and they're super handy for keeping in my handbag. The Body Shop isn't somewhere that I normally shop, for no specific reason, but I went in with my chum as she was looking for a gift for someone. I saw this Tea Tree Pore Minimizer and thought I'd give it a go! I've fallen in love with the Clinique Pore Refining Serum but I'm always after a bargain alternative so I'm looking forward to trying this Tea Tree version out. 

My friend bought this Soap & Glory body spray which I myself love and when she got to the till, it was only £3.50! So I myself went and got one two- bargain! We wanted to see what all the fuss was about with Victoria Secrets and then fell in love with the menagerie of beauty products held within the store. I treated myself to this body spray- at £9 it's a bit pricey but it smells just as good as any perfume, and tbh I fell in love with them all! I didn't want to look at the new MAC Orange collection but then I saw this lipstick in Flamingo and swooned! It's more of a subtle peachy shade that isn't too intense with the Lustre finish. I've not posted in soooooooooooo long *bad Roisin*! I wore this outfit a couple of weekends ago out for drinks for a friend's birthday. I love that this mint dress is a super light cotton with a slight dipped hem at the back. I think it's great for both casual and dressing up because it's quite simple so it can carry a spangley necklace or a colourful bag or, in this case, statement shoes. I treated myself to some JC Foxy's from Harvey Nichols; they were a bargain £55 because Harvey Nic's haven't renewed their contract with Jeffrey Campbell so all their shoes were on offer!!! I couldn't believe my luck- they were a ridiculous unnecessary purchase but I just love them! They are dangerously spikey, I couldn't believe how sharp they were! They're surprisingly easy to walk in, probably because of the platform at the front.

Also, I think this is the first post with my crazy ombred hair! I didn't ever intend for it to be this colour- the dye was called Violet and it came out like this! When it fades, I'm planning on dying it lilac so I'm furiously washing it to try and make it fade ha! I've been to London on a girly shopping weekend with my friend and I've got back I'm so tired and spent up! I went to Oxford St and the amazing Westfield Centre in Stratford with the biggest Forever21 store imaginable! Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Conditioner.

Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Conditioner (£6.39, from Boots). 

So I've recently had my hair ombred and that involved bleaching the ends of my hair and this means danger-zone for me because my hair fell out last time I bleached it when I had it pink (eek!). So I'm pulling out all the stops to ensure that my bleached hair is in tip-top condition and after some Youtube research, I decided to try the Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes Conditioner. This Pro-Blonde Complex Conditioner has a toner within it to prevent blonde hair from becoming brassy or orange- this gives the conditioner its lovely lilac colour. 

The conditioner itself smells amazing- I find it hard to describe smells but it's definitely got that signature Lee Stafford scent. I've just been using it on my ombred hair because I don't want it to lighten the darker dye in my hair. It's made my hair feel super soft but it's also kept my hair feeling strong. I hate that straw-like feeling you get from bleach- it's just brittle, frail, dead hair. Well say goodbye to that because this conditioner is keeping my hair looking shiny and feeling strong and healthy. I can only imagine the effects of this on blonde hair but on my crazy-coloured ombre hair, it's still managing to work miracles. 

In a nutshell: Goodbye brassy broken bleached hair; hello soft and shiny golden locks!

April Favourites.

Osmo Intensive Deep Repair Mask; Real Techniques Expert Face and Stippling Brushes; MaxFactor CC Cream; Revlon Lip Butters in Juicy Papaya and Pink Lemonade; Look Beauty Fresh Cheeks in Guava and e.l.f Brow Brush.

I feel like I've been pretty lazy and uninspired on the blogging front recently, I'm not 100% sure why. When I was collecting my April Favourites together, I realised I've not actually reviewed most of them yet on my blog! I think I'm a bit behind with reviewing products but hopefully I'll catch myself up at some point. My first favourite is the Osmo Deep Repair mask which is an absolute saviour for my coloured damaged hair. It's great for using as a deep conditioner every time you wash your hair, as well as a mask which you can leave on for upto 15minutes.  It smells amazing too which is always a bonus! I've also been loving my two newest Real Techniques Brushes- the Expert Face Brush (review here) and the Stippling Brush. 

I've been swapping my foundations about this month but the one I've been turning to the most is the MaxFactor CC Cream (review here)- it's got a super light-weight air-whipped texture which smooths out the skin tone and colour-corrects to provide the perfect base. My everyday blusher has been the Look Beauty Fresh Cheeks cream blusher in Guava (review here) which is a super pretty coral shade. It's perfect partner is the RT Stippling Brush for sure! This is a 'last week in the month' favourite as I only recently purchased it but I've been loving using the e.l.f Brow Brush for making my brows look more natural when I fill them in. Finally, the surprise of the century (for me anyway) is that I like Revlon Lip Butters!!! I hated the first one I bought last year when they launched but I've fallen in love with two of the newer shades Juicy Papaya and Pink Lemonade, which I'll be reviewing soon. 

I've not got much else to report apart from that yesterday I bought myself a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Black Spiked Heels and I'm super giddy and excited about it!!!!! I'll be doing a total love-fest post on them soon. Thanks for stopping by x

Beauty Things I Suck At #Tag.

I stumbled across this tag on Kat's blog Cherries In The Snow and thought I'd give it a go as it sounds like it's got me written all over it! I'm not sure who started the tag but let's give it a go! I myself am not a make up artist, I've never worked on a beauty counter or for a beauty company or magazine. So obviously, I'm no expert and I'm not ashamed to say that I have my flaws in the beauty department! So here's five thing I'm no good at but probs should be as a so-called blogger:

1. Body Moisturising- This is a big one- I see bloggers reviewing loads of luxury, thick and creamy fancy body butters and sometimes I myself go out an buy them with the best intentions of using them. It's not that I don't like the products, it's simply that I can never be bothered to apply it after a shower or a bath! Lazy I know, but who really has the time??? I know I don't. So what's my solution? I use my beloved Soap & Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter- it's a shower wash and a butter all in one, perfect! 

2. Neglecting My Hair- Pretty much anything involving my hair annoys me. I hate washing it, drying it, straightening it, using products in it, styling it- everything! I just find it so tedious and boring and it never stays how I want it to look for long! I'm actually growing my hair at the minute (it's taking FOREVER) so I just have it up in a ponytail all the time. 

3. Tanning- Fake or real I am a tan-a-phobe. I've always burnt pretty easily but when I got to about 16yrs old I became obsessed with protecting my skin from the sun- even the slightest peak of sunlight and I put on sun cream. I did try using gradual fake tanning products for a while but the maintenance of it just put me off. So I'm as pale as the day I was born!

4. Not Looking After My Lips- This is partly my fault and partly not- I do get horrendously dry lips during the colder months but I don't help myself as I probably should. I moisturise my lips fairly sporadically and I don't know much about which lip balms are good and which aren't- I usually just get the cheap ones. 

5. Not Chipping My Nails- I could buy the most expensive, high-end nail varnish in the world with the greatest claims and I'd still chip it within 24hrs. Fact. I'm really heavy handed and generally clumsy so nail varnish doesn't stand a chance on my hands.

February Empties.

Herbal Essences Ignite My Colour Conditioner:

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm no haircare expert but I do like this conditioner. It makes my hair super soft and shiny and it makes my colour more vibrant. I usually alternate between using the Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner and the Avon ones so I'll probably pick these up again in the future when they're on offer. Repurchase: Yes.

Sure Black Diamond Deodorant:
My favourite deodorant of all times. I love the smell but what I love the most is that you don't get white marks from the spray. Repurchase: Yes.

Nivea Invisible Pearl Deodorant:
I do quite like this deodorant but, as I've just said, the Sure deodorant is my absolute favourite. I actually only bought it because it was on offer. Repurchase: No.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Lace and Cherry:
These are my two favourite scents/flavours of the Batiste Dry Shampoos. I really need to get some more but the price seems to have shot up recently so I'm hoping they'll be on offer somewhere soon so I can stock up.  Repurchase: YES!

Primark 4in1 Deep Facial Cleansing Wipes x2:
I love using these wipes to take off the majority of my makeup before cleansing. I don't find them at all harsh on the eyes or my skin and they're just super quick and easy to use, and mega cheap at £1 for two packets. Repurchase: Yes, always!

2012 Favourites: Part 1.

I thought instead of doing a December Favourites post, I'd do a 2012 Favourites instead. I've split the post into two parts- part one will focus on beauty and hair products and part two (coming soon) will feature makeup. I've had so many favourites this year but I've tried my very hardest to whittle it down to these products. Enjoy!

Face:

Soap & Glory Peaches & Clean Deep Cleansing Milk: I love everything about this cleanser: the packaging; the scent; the formula and, most importantly, the results. This cleanser deep cleans my skin, banishing any dirt or makeup, as well as calming and controlling any blemishes. It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and clean and a little goes a really long way- I'm still on my first bottle! 

Superdrug Oil Balancing Serum: This is a product that I miss when I stop using it; without it my skin becomes oily during the day and my makeup begins to fade away. With it, however, my skin it matte and fresh throughout the day. It's a bargain product but, for me, it really does the job.

Clinique 7 Day Scrub: I didn't want to like this because I can't really afford to replace it.; but I love it (alas!). It's not at all harsh on the skin but still cleanses and removes any dead skin or dirt. I also find it quite hydrating as it's a cream based exfoliator. I try and use it twice a week and find it to be really great for keeping my skin soft and smooth.

No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream for Normal/Oily Skin: I started using this moisturiser from it's launch earlier in 2012 and I loved it: it's super light and hydrating on my oil skin whilst keeping it matte and smooth throughout the day. It's also got SPF15 and UVA protection which are big positives for me as I'm paranoid when it comes to sun damage. I've not been using this over the past few months as I've got a Clinique moisturiser to use up and I can tell you now that I'm missing using this soooooooooo much! It's just perfect for my skin type and I can't wait to get back to using it.

 Body:

Soap & Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter: I'm super lazy when it comes to body moisturising and exfoliating and general messing about but this product it just everything I want in a tube. It looks amazing, it smells so nice it's unreal and it leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth I can't wait to have a shower and use it again! I also think it's a bargain at £8 for 250ml as a little goes a real long way. Soap & Glory, I salute you and your time saving products! 

Hair: 

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Cherry and Lace: I honestly don't know how I lived before Batiste. It's a fringe saver as it saves me washing my hair everyday and it also adds texture to 'just washed' hair if I'm wanting to back comb or style it. Lace and Cherry are my personal favourites as I like their scents and packaging (let's not kid ourselves here). 

Mark Hill Turn Up The Heat Protection Spray: I bought the mini sized bottle of this to try out and fell inlove! It protects my hair from heat damage without leaving any residue, scent or texture behind on my hair. A little goes a long way so it's cost effective and I love the packaging. I don't dry my hair without this any more ladies!

Perfume:

Ed Hardy Born Wild EDT: I could have chosen loads of perfumes for my 2012 Favourites but I couldn't kid myself that this wasn't my overall favourite. I only started wearing this perfume at the start of 2012 and I've already been through two bottles and have two more waiting in the wings. It's sweet and floral and lasts all day. I love the traditional flash design on the bottle and I never leave home without it! It's a bit pricey at £36 but I can honestly say I've never paid full price for it- watch out for those Boots fragrance sales!

December Empties.

Well munchkins, it's time for my December Empties and thus the last Empties post of 2012. I haven't got loads of empties to show you this month I'm afraid but my aim for the new year is to try and use products up before buying new ones. 

Primark 4in1 Deep Facial Cleansing Wipes: I actually can't believe I've used up three packets of face wipes this month! I use these to get off the majority of my makeup and then use cleanser to really clean my face. These ones are a bargain and do the job for me. Repurchase: Yes.

Avon Naturals Honey & Milk Shower Gel: I like Avon Naturals shower gels because they're cheap and do the job for me. I like the Honey and Milk scent and these bottles last me a fairly long time. I won't be buying any more any time soon as I got loads of smellies for Christmas but I'd deffo buy them again in the future. Repurchase: Yes.

Avon Advance Techniques Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo: I always finish off my shampoo and conditioner at different times (annoying). I changed from my usual Colour Protect shampoo and conditioner to the Moroccan Oil ones to try out but I can't really say that I noticed that much of a difference. I'd rather stick with my Colour Protect ones as they keep my colour brighter for longer. Repurchase: No.

Redken Colour Extend Radiant -10 Spray: I got this sample spray in my August She Said Beauty Box and I've actually really enjoyed using it and was gutted when I finished it. It didn't have an offensive smell and it didn't leave any sort of texture on my hair. It's hard to tell whether it actually extended my colour or not as I use a few different colour protection products. I think the full size is quite expensive though so I doubt I'll be going out of my way to buy it, but I'm glad I got to try it out. Repurchase: No.

e.l.f Eyebrow Kit in Dark: I love this brow kit- I use it every day and I love the look it gives my brows. It's also a mega bargain and lasts a good 6months or so. Repurchase: Yes (already using my next one!).

Collection 2000 Fix Me Up Makeup Fixing Spray: I got this in my September SSB Box and I liked it sooooo much more than the e.l.f makeup setting spray. It's super compact and is great for on-the-go touch ups. The only negative with this product is that I seemed to use it up really quickly- I wish they did a bigger sized bottle as well so I could have one that lasts longer. Repurchase: Yes.

Ginvera Green Tea Marvel Gel: Oh this product is one of my favourites of 2012! I was so gutted when I finished this because I need it in my life! The full size costs £22 which is abit out of my price range but I'm determined to buy it myself one day. It left my skin feeling so soft and smooth and clean- I truly love this cleanser/exfoliator. Repurchase: Yes, one day!

November Favourites.

Mark Hill Turn Up The Heat Spray; No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation; e.l.f Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Baby Lips; Rimmel Stay Matte Concealer; makebelieve Enhance Highlighter; e.l.f Baked Eyeshadow in Burnt Plum; e.l.f Lip Exfoliator. 

Makeup dominates my favourites this month as I made an e.l.f order mid-month and I've generally just been neglecting my beauty products at the moment. I'm still head over heels in love with No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation in Calico- I don't really need to say much more about it other than it's my perfect foundation shade, finish and coverage. I've been wearing Baby Lips pretty much every day since I got it- it's super easy to wear and goes great with dark eye looks which I've been creating using e.l.f Baked Eyeshadow in Burnt Plum. I've been loving highlighters this month and I've mostly been reaching for the makebelieve one I got in my November She Said Beauty Box. My hair's in great condition at the minute and I'd mostly attribute this to the Mark Hill heat protection spray that I've been using. November Empties.

My November Empties are minimal to say the least my friends. I think I used a lot up last month so there's a bit of a lull this month. I also seem to have loads of products that are nearly empty but I didn't want to cheat by putting them in this month's post because that just wouldn't be fair now would it?

Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask: Ahh Lush face masks- I love them so much but I hate that they go out of date! It's totally my own fault because I have them in the fridge and then stupidly forget to use them. I've not bought one for ages (this is actually an old pot that I forgot to put in last month's post) because Lush isn't in the town near me so I'd have to make a special trip to go get a mask. I do love them though, you can see a review of this one here. Repurchase: Yes, we will meet again. 

Primark 4in1 Deep Facial Cleansing Wipes: They're here every month folks and that's because I'm lazy. Repurchase: Always.

REDKEN Smooth Lock Heat Protection Shampoo and Conditioner Sachets: These came in my November She Said Beauty Box and you can see a review of them and all the products in that box here. I did really like these but there's no way I'd spend that much on shampoo or conditioner for myself; but I'm really glad I got to try them out. Repurchase: No. 

Mark Hill Turn Up The Heat Spray: I bought this mini travel sized spray to try out and I really liked it so I went out and bought the full size when I finished this one. I really like the packaging and I've felt like using this has really left my hair in good condition- you can see a full review here. Repurchase: Yes!

e.l.f Eyebrow Kit in Dark: I use this everyday and I love the strong look it gives my brows; it's also a bargain at just £3.75! The only thing I will say is that I've used up all the waxy gel but only about half of the powder so technically it's empty because I can't use it as a brow kit but I have got some powder left. Repurchase: Yes- already onto my next one!

Rimmel Pro Super Wear Nail Varnish Top Coat: I'm not mad about this top coat, nor do I hate it. I just resent spending a fortune on nail varnish base and top coats as they're not pretty and colourful like the varnish itself- stupid I know. I think it's a good high street buy but I certainly wouldn't rave about it. Repurchase: Yes, but only because it's an easy option. 

So there you have it. I cannot believe it's 1st December today- madness. I hope you're all having a relaxing weekend so far. 

She Said Beauty Box: November.

So you've already seen what I got in my November SSB box (initial review here), but here's a full review of the products inside. I have been much happier with this box than I was with the October box as the sample sizes are much more generous and this box actually contains three full sized products. 

Redken Smooth Lock Shampoo and Conditioner: These are great sized one-use sachets, although there may not be enough product inside for super long or thick hair. Both products smelt like orange chocolate, which I must say I found delightful! The shampoo on its own left my hair feeling clean but not very soft; however, the conditioner was super softening and smoothing. The combination of the two left my hair looking shiny, healthy and feeling protected against heat stylers. I was also surprised about how little colour washed out of my hair when I used them as normally non-colour protection products result in loads of colour wash-out for me. 

Yardley Royal English Daisy EDT: I honestly thought I was going to hate this perfume sample as Yardley conjures up images of classic, 'older woman' scents. However, I've found this scent to be inoffensively floral and actually quite sweet. This sweetness may come from the apple notes but other ingredients include fresh green leaves, hyacinth, white rose, sandalwood and musk. This isn't at all my kind of scent really but I have grown to quite like it, although I think I'm unlikely to go out and buy it. 

Andrew Barton Hold It Right There Surefix Grips and Ponybands: I always think that hair products like these are kind of gimiky and often wonder whether they actually work or not. The bobbles have a criss-cross elastic design on them which reminds me of chain grips on car wheels in the snow- so obviously the idea is that these bobbles have more grip on them than your traditional band. The first thing that I'd say about these bands is that there isn't much slack with them. Typically, a bobble will twist round my hair five or so times but these only fit round my hair three times. I can't imagine that these would be at all good for anyone with thick hair because I doubt they'd even fit. I don't like the coloured look of these bands- I like black bobbles that don't stand out against my hair. In the same vain, I'd typically go for black hair clips but I find these less visually offensive than the bobbles. Both products kept my hair in place and feel really strong without appearing to snap of damage my hair.

Weleda Wild Rose Smoothing Night Cream: I like the little pink tube packaging of this product- though the metal tube does remind me of some kind of medical packaging. This night cream has a very strong scent which I am not at all a fan of- it has a very strong rose, aromatherapy type scent. The night cream absorbed into the skin all right but it did leave my skin feeling a little greasy; I imagine that this product is tailored for dry skin more so than oily skin like mine. This product did leave my skin feeling soft and moisturised but this isn't the one for me.

Murrays Manicure Matchbook Nail Files: This was the SSB treat in the November box. These a great little nail files for keeping in your hand bag- my nails are always peeling and breaking so I've found these great for filing away any nicks. You get a whopping 15 mini nail files in this packet which I think is great value for the £1.99 price tag! I reckon you'd only be able to use each file a few times because they're only thin but they definitely do the job!

Makebelieve Enhance Luminize Skin Highlighter: This is my favourite product from the November SSB box by far! It's a full sized product worth £7.50 which is a great value item for the £9 price tag of the box. I like the simple clear compact packaging- I like it when you can see the product inside of the packaging. This cream highlighter gives a beautiful subtle shimmer that lasts throughout the day- it's definitely more of a silvery shimmer than a golden glitter. I've been wearing it on the tops of my cheeks as a highlighter but you could just as easily wear it on your eyelids or brow bones. Cream products can sometimes feel heavy or greasy but this highlighter is neither- it's super light, soft and smooth. A great little product which I'm so glad I've got to try out.
