August Favourites.

This last month has gone so fast! That's deffo because it's been the best month of 2014 for me (so far!) with our engagement, my beloved starting work, our holiday etc! On reflection I've tried and loved loadsssss of products this month so it was difficult to narrow it down to a few favourites. Here goes...

Avon Big & Daring Mascara- love this mascara. It gives you big fluttery bold lashes with minimum effort.

Topshop Lip Bullet in Call Me Queen Be- my new favourite lippy, it's like a wintery version of my beloved MAC Kelly Osbourne lippy in Dodgy Girl.

Avon EDP in Luck- my new everyday perfume this is sweet and sophisticated and gets loads of compliments!

Tangle Teezer- my hair saviour!

Avon Eyeshadow Duo in Deep Wine- this has been my go-to eyeshadow set on my days off, the colours are super grungy and have amazing colour payoff.

Rimmel Brow This Way in Dark Brown- screw you Benefit Gimme Brow, this bad boy brow setting gel is the one for me.

Avon Magix Multi-Benefit Illuminator- illuminating highlighting concealing genius.

I hope you're all OK, thanks for stopping by x

July Favourites.

I've not really had many favourites this month which makes a change from me struggling to choose from loads of products I've loved! I don't think I've bought much new makeup or Skincare this month, I've just been enjoying stuff that I've already got. Anyway, here's a selection of my fave products of this summer month. Please link me to your July Favourites posts! Thanks for stopping by x

MAC Lipstick in Pure Heroine and Avon Ultra Glimmerstick Lip Liner in Deep Plum- I used this duo to create my Lorde inspired makeup look and I'm looking forward to rocking these all throughout the winter!

Nails Inc. in Showfield Street- this QVC exclusive shade had my name written all over it and I love it loads!

Chanel Le Vernis in 615 Sweet Lilac- hands down my fave nail varnish at the minute. I also think this is my favourite Chanel nail varnish in my collection! It's just so me and it's so wearable I love it!

MAC Kelly Osbourne Lipstick in Dodgy Girl- this will be in my favourites always. Favourite lipstick of all time, no competition.

Avon True Colour Eyeshadow Quads in Nearly Naked and Barely There- I've been wearing these two quads every day off I've had since I bought them! I love shade two in the bottom palette especially but the top palette is my fave by far! It's just so wearable and different with the pink shades.

June Favourites.

WOWZERS, it's that time again for my monthly favourites! This year is going by so fast it's horrible! I've loved so many things this month, it's been a time for new launches and new beauty discoveries for me.
MAC Kelly Osbourne Collection- it's kind of cheating but all the products from the collection have made it into my favourites. I know I've not posted reviews of them all yet but I have written them, I just don't wanna bore people who aren't interested in the collection lol. Dodgy Girl lippy is hands down my favourite item and has instantly become my all time favourite lipstick.
Chanel Le Vernis in May and Rouge Coco lipstick in Dedicace- I love this duo they're perfect everyday failsafe colours that go with everything. Both are really long wearing and are true to colour.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation- never did I think that I would like this foundation! This was a gamble that paid off, I've worn this nearly every day this month and what I love most is that it's super pale and perfect for my skin tone.
Avon True Colour Eyeshadow Quad in Nearly Naked- this has to be my bargain buy of the month! I've literally used this every day wearing the pink shade to neutralise my lids and the highlighter shade on my brow bone. I love how easy it is to use and how it's different from your normal neutrals shadows.
O.P.I Nail Envy Duo- I know this was in my last favourites but I'm finally reaping the benefits of using them and boy am I impressed! My nails have never been so long or strong.

I hope you're OK, please link me to your favourites posts, thanks for stopping by x

May Favourites.

This month has gone so fast! I can't believe we're nearly half way through the year- it's so weird! And yet it continues to rain! Alas, British weather you never fail to disapoint.

MAC Patentpolish Lip Crayon- this has been my 'go to' lip product this month, the lilacy pink shade is super wearable and pretty much goes with everything. It's also really easy to apply (not mirror required) and it lasts a real long time on the lips. Love.
L'oreal Skin Perfection duo- these products have been my everyday staples since I bought them. I've definitely noticed and improvement in my skin texture and oiliness.
MaxFactor CC Cream Crayon- this is a dark circle saviour! I'd even call this a Holy Grail product it's that good, seriously check it out!
Avon AeroVolume Mascara- I bought this with my first Avon order as a Rep this month and I've used it every day since. It separates the lashes really well and adds length and volume.
Essie Spin the Bottle- the perfect everyday nude nail varnish. Enough said.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge- I've not used anything else since buying this to appl my foundation and concealer. It gives a super smooth airbrushed finish and makes my makeup last all day long.
O.P.I Nail Envy Duo- after just one week my nails are longer, stronger and in amazing condition. No more peeling, bending or ridges for me!

Wow, I've really loved a lot of things this month! I hope you're OK, please leave me links to your favourites below! Thanks for stopping by x

March Favourites.

Another month over and this year is fast flying by! This means it's time for a round up of my monthly favourites. I've loved so many things this month I've found it really hard to narrow it down to a few faves!!

Urban Decay NAKED Skin Beauty Balm and Foundation- together this could be my Holy Grail base duo guys! It leaves my skin looking truly flawless and it lasts really well throughout the day.
NYX Love In Paris Palette in Let Them Eat Cake- this is the palette of the season for me, it's really different to what I'd usually wear. It's super pretty and creates a beautiful smokey eye that's super wearable.
Rimmel Matte BB Cream in Very Light- after finally finding the shade for me, I've been loving wearing this when I'm not in work or when I'm wanting a more lighter coverage.
Elemis Matte Attack Duo- these have been my Skincare staples this month, they're Mattifying yet hydrating.
Batiste Dry Shampoo in Pretty and Delicate Floral- this new scent launch is divine! Batiste is the king of all the dry shampoos and I love the packaging of this new one!
L'oreal Color Riche Nails in Pistachio Drage- it's super pale but surprisingly flattering, it's totally SS14.
L'oreal Rouge Caresse in Rock n Mauve- it's just so wearable yet is really different, I also love the formula of this product.

Trousers- New Look; Polka Dot Bag- Primark; Blue Bag- M&S Best of British; Vintage style box- Sainsburys; Pink Shoes- New Look; Skirt- Primark.

I've also had loads of fashion favourites this month- I feel like I'm finding my personal style and making fashion work for me rather than hiding behind baggy unfitted clothing. I'm embracing my shape and size and I'm finally wearing colour- hoorah! I hope you're all OK, let me know what your favourites have  been this month! Thanks for stopping by x

February Favourites.

I can't believe that it's already time for my February Favourites- I know it's a short month but gosh it's gone quick! I've been loving loads of products this month but some of them I've been reaching for pretty much every day.

Revlon Colorburst Matte and Lacquer Balms- I've pretty much worn one of these every day off I've had this month. I love both formulas and find them super smooth and long lasting. My number one fave shade is Shameless (matte dark purple) but it does require a fair bit of touching up throughout the day, as do most dark shades as you notice fading more. I also love Provocateur (lacquer bright red) and I've been clashing it with pastel and monochrome outfits.

Dainty Doll Cream Blusher in 001- after doing my Shopping The Stash post recently, I fell in love all over again with this blusher. It's the most beautiful pastel pink and it lasts all day long. I think it's perfect for Spring/Summer especially as I've been wearing brighter and bold lip clouds recently.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Oily/Combination Skin- this has been on my face pretty much everyday this month. I've been super impressed with it's staying power so it's perfect for wearing for work. I also love the flawless matte finish it gives but I HATE the packaging. It gets really messy without a pump and it's super annoying putting it on when you're half asleep getting ready for work at 5.30am (ew).

L'oreal Studioline Txt Volume Supersizing Spray- never have I loved a hair product as much as I love this. I've literally used it on all of my days off since I bought it. It makes my hair look super beschy and messy without making it hard or stiff. It give a matte finish which I love and you can just scrunch your hair up through the day and it holds. No more back combing for me!

So there are my February Faves, let me know what you've been loving this month and leave links to your blogs below! Thanks for stopping by x

January Favourites.

I thought I'd do a Beauty and Non-Beauty favourites in one combined post but seperate if up that makes any sense whatsoever! No? Good, me neither. So no one knows what's going on- just smile and nod and everything will be OK.

Beauty-
I've gone into a lot more detail about each of these products when I've reviewed them separately so go find them if you wanna check out more deets!

Maybelline Baby Skin Primer- this product blurs my pores wonderfully, making my skin appear smoother and makes my makeup last through the day. Can't say much more than that's about a primer really!
L'oreal Miss Manga Mascara- oh me, oh my! I wasn't even looking for a new mascara but totally fell for the packaging of this one and I'm so glad because it's now my favourite mascara ever! It makes my lashes look super long and thick, without bein drying or clumpy. Love love!
Illamasqua Lipstick in Posture- as I've said I'm having a lilac lips moment right now and this is one from my collection. It's not for everyone but I love the way it looks on me, especially with my lilac hair!
L'oreal Purifying Gel Wash- my skin has never been so clear- need I say more?!
Bourjois CC Cream- I've totally been enjoying wearing this to work on nights as it's super light on my skin but lasts surprisingly well.

Non-Beauty-
Harry Potter and the Dealthy Hallows- I've been re-reading this, for like the millionth time, recently. I'm just at the bit where Harry, Ron and Hermione apparate to Hogsmeade so I've got about a quarter of the book left to go. It's dead funny though cause my mate at work decided to make me a book mark out of pics from magazines but it's really random with cats with men's heads and botched bodies type images so it's really funny opening up HP and finding that bookmark inside ha.

My Topshop smock dress- I've worn this too many times since I bought it! Yes thank you, I have washed it, I am clean you know. I just love how it goes with everything and it's dead easy to throw on.

So there's my favourites- please comment with links to your favourites posts, I love reading them! Thanks for stopping by x

May Favourites.

Clearly, my May Favourites are dominated by my beloved new Clinique Skincare Routine; you can read an update of my progress here. This collective 5-step routine has completely transformed my skin- banishing dryness, oiliness, shine, pores and keeping my skin clean and hydrated. If I had to choose an overall skincare favourite, it would definitely have to be the Pore Correcting Serum- this is for sure a Holy Grail product for getting rid of pores, it honestly truly is amazing! My only makeup favourite this month is MAC Lipstick in Chatterbox- I've pretty much been wearing it every day since I bought it. It's just the ultimate everyday mid-toned pink and pretty much goes with everything. I've been trying loads of different makeup out this month (mostly from my American swap haul!) but I've not had a chance to review them all yet so June might be a makeup overload! Hope you're all OK, thanks for stopping by x

April Favourites.

Osmo Intensive Deep Repair Mask; Real Techniques Expert Face and Stippling Brushes; MaxFactor CC Cream; Revlon Lip Butters in Juicy Papaya and Pink Lemonade; Look Beauty Fresh Cheeks in Guava and e.l.f Brow Brush.

I feel like I've been pretty lazy and uninspired on the blogging front recently, I'm not 100% sure why. When I was collecting my April Favourites together, I realised I've not actually reviewed most of them yet on my blog! I think I'm a bit behind with reviewing products but hopefully I'll catch myself up at some point. My first favourite is the Osmo Deep Repair mask which is an absolute saviour for my coloured damaged hair. It's great for using as a deep conditioner every time you wash your hair, as well as a mask which you can leave on for upto 15minutes.  It smells amazing too which is always a bonus! I've also been loving my two newest Real Techniques Brushes- the Expert Face Brush (review here) and the Stippling Brush.

I've been swapping my foundations about this month but the one I've been turning to the most is the MaxFactor CC Cream (review here)- it's got a super light-weight air-whipped texture which smooths out the skin tone and colour-corrects to provide the perfect base. My everyday blusher has been the Look Beauty Fresh Cheeks cream blusher in Guava (review here) which is a super pretty coral shade. It's perfect partner is the RT Stippling Brush for sure! This is a 'last week in the month' favourite as I only recently purchased it but I've been loving using the e.l.f Brow Brush for making my brows look more natural when I fill them in. Finally, the surprise of the century (for me anyway) is that I like Revlon Lip Butters!!! I hated the first one I bought last year when they launched but I've fallen in love with two of the newer shades Juicy Papaya and Pink Lemonade, which I'll be reviewing soon.

I've not got much else to report apart from that yesterday I bought myself a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Black Spiked Heels and I'm super giddy and excited about it!!!!! I'll be doing a total love-fest post on them soon. Thanks for stopping by x

March Favourites.

I can't believe that March is over! I've been working nights this month so I don't feel like I've done anything all month! I'm back to my beloved S&G Thick & Fast mascara- it makes my lashes big, long and volumised all day long. I've been wearing this Dainty Doll every day since the day I bought it- I love how versatile it is as you can build it up real bright or wear it quite soft and subtle. It will probably be in my favourites for the rest of time- S&G Whipped Clean Shower Butter. It is the ultimate time saver and the nicest smelling product of all times.

I'm still loving the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation; the colour is a great match for my skin and it gives a really nice natural finish. The Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick is a perfect everyday colour that compliments any makeup look and it lasts really well through the day. Finally, I've made the leap back from gel liner to liquid eyeliner. I never thought I'd like a felt-tip style liner but this one is really good and doesn't transfer at all. What's in your March Favourites? Link me to your posts!

February Favourites.

My February Favourites are all makeup items as I've been trying out so many different products with new year/season launches coming thick and fast. Ever since I bought it I've not stopped wearing the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation. In principle, this shouldn't be a foundation I'd like with it's light/medium coverage and natural finish (I'm typically a matte full coverage kind of girl) but I just love it. It's so easy and natural and the colour is stunning. I've also been loving my American Maybelline Color Whispers, they're so moisturising and easy to wear- they're perfect for every day wear. I fell inlove with the new Chanel nail varnish as soon as I saw it; I love the bright coral pink and I love Chanel in general so it was a win win for me.

Rimmel Stay Matte has made a home inside my handbag, it's great for touch ups on the go. Finally, my Rimmel Apocalips; since my original review post, I've purchased Nude Eclipse which is just the most wearable nude lip product I've ever owned. I love how long lasting, pigmented and bright they all are- my personal fave is the hot pink Apocaliptic, I've definitely been getting my wear out of that one! Please link me to your February Favourites posts so I can have a nosy x

January Favourites.

It's a very pink January Favourites here isn't it! Ed Hardy Born Wild has been my everyday perfume for about a year now- I've never actually bought a bottle myself because my family have bought it me for my birthday and Christmas, I've got a few bottles tucked away for when I finish my current bottle. Bepanthen might seem like a funny choice but it has been a wonder product for my dry lips! I typically purchase Bepanthen for when I get a new tattoo to help with the healing process but the soothing balm leaves my lips feeling soft, smooth and flake free!

I've been using Heel Genius to sooth my tired feets and I love how cooling and softening it is on my toots. Whipped Clean is without doubt my favourite body product of all times. Its a shower gel and body butter all in one, which is perfect for me cause I'm super lazy when it comes to moisturising my body so this wonder product saves me so much time. It also has the most amazing smell in the world which I want to bottle up and make into a perfume.

I imagine this is in a lot of bloggers' favourites this month- it's the Urban Decay NAKED Basics Palette. Believe the hype ladies, it's matte neutrals at their absolute best. It's perfect for everyday glamour and super smoky evening eyes. I also love how compact it is, especially compared with the original NAKED palette. Finally, the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balmstain in Sweetheart/Valentine- I still love it, I still wear it and it's still the best formula, colour pay-off and long lasting lip product I've ever used. Unfortunately, this shade isn't available in the UK but I bought mine off ebay from a lovely American seller. So there you have it, my January faves. Please link me to your favourites posts or let me know what your favourites are in a comment below!

2012 Favourites: Part 1.

I thought instead of doing a December Favourites post, I'd do a 2012 Favourites instead. I've split the post into two parts- part one will focus on beauty and hair products and part two (coming soon) will feature makeup. I've had so many favourites this year but I've tried my very hardest to whittle it down to these products. Enjoy!

Face:
Soap & Glory Peaches & Clean Deep Cleansing Milk: I love everything about this cleanser: the packaging; the scent; the formula and, most importantly, the results. This cleanser deep cleans my skin, banishing any dirt or makeup, as well as calming and controlling any blemishes. It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and clean and a little goes a really long way- I'm still on my first bottle!

Superdrug Oil Balancing Serum: This is a product that I miss when I stop using it; without it my skin becomes oily during the day and my makeup begins to fade away. With it, however, my skin it matte and fresh throughout the day. It's a bargain product but, for me, it really does the job.

Clinique 7 Day Scrub: I didn't want to like this because I can't really afford to replace it.; but I love it (alas!). It's not at all harsh on the skin but still cleanses and removes any dead skin or dirt. I also find it quite hydrating as it's a cream based exfoliator. I try and use it twice a week and find it to be really great for keeping my skin soft and smooth.

No7 Beautiful Skin Day Cream for Normal/Oily Skin: I started using this moisturiser from it's launch earlier in 2012 and I loved it: it's super light and hydrating on my oil skin whilst keeping it matte and smooth throughout the day. It's also got SPF15 and UVA protection which are big positives for me as I'm paranoid when it comes to sun damage. I've not been using this over the past few months as I've got a Clinique moisturiser to use up and I can tell you now that I'm missing using this soooooooooo much! It's just perfect for my skin type and I can't wait to get back to using it.

 Body:
Soap & Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter: I'm super lazy when it comes to body moisturising and exfoliating and general messing about but this product it just everything I want in a tube. It looks amazing, it smells so nice it's unreal and it leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth I can't wait to have a shower and use it again! I also think it's a bargain at £8 for 250ml as a little goes a real long way. Soap & Glory, I salute you and your time saving products!

Hair:
Batiste Dry Shampoo in Cherry and Lace: I honestly don't know how I lived before Batiste. It's a fringe saver as it saves me washing my hair everyday and it also adds texture to 'just washed' hair if I'm wanting to back comb or style it. Lace and Cherry are my personal favourites as I like their scents and packaging (let's not kid ourselves here).

Mark Hill Turn Up The Heat Protection Spray: I bought the mini sized bottle of this to try out and fell inlove! It protects my hair from heat damage without leaving any residue, scent or texture behind on my hair. A little goes a long way so it's cost effective and I love the packaging. I don't dry my hair without this any more ladies!

Perfume:
Ed Hardy Born Wild EDT: I could have chosen loads of perfumes for my 2012 Favourites but I couldn't kid myself that this wasn't my overall favourite. I only started wearing this perfume at the start of 2012 and I've already been through two bottles and have two more waiting in the wings. It's sweet and floral and lasts all day. I love the traditional flash design on the bottle and I never leave home without it! It's a bit pricey at £36 but I can honestly say I've never paid full price for it- watch out for those Boots fragrance sales!

So there you have part one of my 2012 Favourites! The next post will feature my makeup favourites from this past year. Please comment me with any links or let me know what you're favourites were this year. Happy New Year everyone!

November Favourites.

Makeup dominates my favourites this month as I made an e.l.f order mid-month and I've generally just been neglecting my beauty products at the moment. I'm still head over heels in love with No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation in Calico- I don't really need to say much more about it other than it's my perfect foundation shade, finish and coverage. I've been wearing Baby Lips pretty much every day since I got it- it's super easy to wear and goes great with dark eye looks which I've been creating using e.l.f Baked Eyeshadow in Burnt Plum. I've been loving highlighters this month and I've mostly been reaching for the makebelieve one I got in my November She Said Beauty Box. My hair's in great condition at the minute and I'd mostly attribute this to the Mark Hill heat protection spray that I've been using. Please link me to your November Favourites as inspiration for next month!

October Favourites.

My favourites this month are predominantly makeup products as I've been using pretty much the same hair and beauty products as always recently. This Avon palette is fast becoming my favourite eyeshadow collection ever and is super compact and great for travel- it's got all the colours I need in it for both day and night. I've been alternating between the e.l.f blush and the Sleek Contouring Kit depending on my eye and lip choices and I've been really enjoying playing about with contouring my face. I have not used another foundation since I bought No7 Beautifully Matte and I can truthfully say that this is my favourite foundation of all times. I've also been loving wearing the combination of two of my favourite nail varnishes this month- Pearly Queen just takes the lilac varnish to a whole other level! Even my mum wanted me to paint her nails with these colours! Finally, I've been depending on my Stop Cracking Up lip repair to fix my fast drying lips now that winter is upon us- this lip repair isn't glamorous or fancy but by Jove, it does the job! Please leave me the links to your favourites this month!
