February Favourites.

I can't believe that it's already time for my February Favourites- I know it's a short month but gosh it's gone quick! I've been loving loads of products this month but some of them I've been reaching for pretty much every day. 

Revlon Colorburst Matte and Lacquer Balms- I've pretty much worn one of these every day off I've had this month. I love both formulas and find them super smooth and long lasting. My number one fave shade is Shameless (matte dark purple) but it does require a fair bit of touching up throughout the day, as do most dark shades as you notice fading more. I also love Provocateur (lacquer bright red) and I've been clashing it with pastel and monochrome outfits. 

Dainty Doll Cream Blusher in 001- after doing my Shopping The Stash post recently, I fell in love all over again with this blusher. It's the most beautiful pastel pink and it lasts all day long. I think it's perfect for Spring/Summer especially as I've been wearing brighter and bold lip clouds recently. 

Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Oily/Combination Skin- this has been on my face pretty much everyday this month. I've been super impressed with it's staying power so it's perfect for wearing for work. I also love the flawless matte finish it gives but I HATE the packaging. It gets really messy without a pump and it's super annoying putting it on when you're half asleep getting ready for work at 5.30am (ew).

L'oreal Studioline Txt Volume Supersizing Spray- never have I loved a hair product as much as I love this. I've literally used it on all of my days off since I bought it. It makes my hair look super beschy and messy without making it hard or stiff. It give a matte finish which I love and you can just scrunch your hair up through the day and it holds. No more back combing for me!

Shopping The Stash.

Shopping the Stash- I've not done this for agesssss! There's loads of products that I love and then something new comes along and it gets pushed to the back of the drawer and forgotten about- sound familiar? I've rediscovered some old favourites of mine recently and thought I'd share them with you.

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter- I remember loving this because it's super subtle and not at all glittery or gold. It's the most beautiful pink pearl shade and I love the imprint in the powder. I'm not going to use this every day as I don't like wearing highlighter to work but I'll deffo be sporting it when I'm on my days off.

MaxFactor CC Cream- this was my first CC Cream and after liking the new Bourjois one I thought I'd crack this one out for comparison. I remember it being really light but giving good coverage and lasting really well. It's also got a matte finish which is a must for me!

Dainty Doll Cream Blusher in 001- I'm really sorry I can't remember the name for this shade and it's not written on the compact! I've felt ready for a more Springy blush and this baby pink matte cream blush is perfect for work and play! It lasts all day and doesn't move on my face half way through the day. It's already made it's way into my makeup bag.

Soap & Glory Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Quad- I was totally reminded of this when I watched a beauty YouTube video recently and thought I'd dig it out. It's the perfect everyday eyeshadow palette and my fave shade has to be the matte nude shade it's a great base!

Dainty Doll Cream Blush.

Dainty Doll Cream Blush in Paper Roses (£1.99 from Fragrance Direct). 

Dainty Doll is a brand I've heard of, and I know my friend uses products from the range because she's got super fair skin and that's the brand's target market. It's the creation of Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts who wanted to create a makeup range specifically designed for paler skinned ladies. I'd never thought of trying the brand for myself until I saw that Fragrance Direct had loads of items from the brand for £1.99! The cream blushes have sold out online and I can't find them available elsewhere I'm afraid. 

I really like the packaging of the brand- the girl on the boxes reminds me of designer illustrations. The compact itself has a matte textured feel to it which I quite like. I like the simplicity of the packaging- it makes it look much more high end- although the products aren't that cheap full price tbh. The compact has a decent size mirror in it- we all know I love the practicalities of a mirrored compact. 

Paper Roses is the most beautiful matte baby pink which gives a super pretty summery flush to the skin. The blush is super creamy, soft and smooth. A little goes a really long way and you can create a really subtle flush or you can build it up loads for more intense colour. One thing I love about this blush is the finish- it's really natural without any shimmer or glitter which I think can cheapen the look of a cream blush. The blush lasts for a good few hours before it starts to fade. I'm actually a bit gutted that there's none of the other shades of cream blush left as I would have definitely bought them. You snooze you lose I guess!

In a nutshell: Lovely baby pink cream blush with a beautiful buildable texture.
