Kelly Osbourne Lipstick in Dodgy Girl.

MAC Kelly Osbourne Lipstick in Dodgy Girl (matte finish, £16.50 from MAC).

This was the item that first got me excited about the MAC Kelly Osbourne collaboration. My love of lilac lipsticks has been ongoing for over a year now and I have been constantly searching for the ultimate lilac lipstick...until now. Encased in beautiful lilac MAC packaging with Kelly's signature on it, Dodgy Girl is my first ever matte finish MAC lipstick. Dodgy Girl is a very pink toned lilac- this is important because most lilac lippies are blue toned and can be a bit dead-looking; however, the pink undertones of this lilac makes it vivid and strong. I'm also super impressed with the formula- often matte finish lippies can be chalky and drying but this is super creamy and smooth on the lips. The staying power of this lippy is unreal- I've even had people commenting on how well it's lasted when I've been out. It does stain the lips bright pink but this is easily removed with makeup wipes or Micellar water. I am officially in love with this lipstick- so much so that I bought it twice for fear of running out! I know this shade won't be to everyone's taste but I personally love it loads and have already worn it so many times! I hope you're OK, thanks for stopping by x

MAC Heroine.

MAC Lipstick in Heroine (£15, MAC).

It took me a while but I finally got hold of Herione a few weeks back. I'm currently obsessed with purple and lilac lipsticks with a growing collection of weird and unusual shades, I had to add Heroine into the mix. Heroine is a stunning true purple with raspberry undertones. This is my first ever MAC Matte finish lipstick and I have to say I am impressed! It's just as creamy and moisturising as their other formulas but I would say that this Matte finish has the best staying power of all the MAC lippies. As you can see, Heroine is a pretty daring shade to wear and it certainly won't be for everyone! I would say it's just as vampy as it is glam and I just love it! I've been wearing it with a simple eye look (eyeliner and mascara only) to make it stand out. It's definitely one for the brave among us but I'd deffo recommend it! Do you dare to wear Heroine? Thanks for stopping by x

Dupe Alert- MAC Up The Amp and Collection Perrie.

MAC Lipstick in Up The Amp (£15 right swatch) and Collection Little Mix Lipstick in Perrie (£2.99 left swatch from Boots and Superdrug).

I recently treated myself to a new MAC lipstick in Up The Amp, brought on by my current obsession with all things purple. So imagine my surprise (and mild annoyance) when I stumbled upon this Collection Little Mix Lipstick which is a total bargain dupe!!

Up The Amp is an Amplified lipstick from MAC, I'm not particularly well up on the various formulas but this gives a flawless opaque colour to the lips. Both shades are a beautiful berry mid purple, I guess you would call it a plum shade. I love the classic MAC lipstick packaging and I love the smell of MAC lipsticks- I can't be the only one surely?!

The Collection dupe is from the Little Mix collection, I've always like Perrie's style and makeup and this colour lipstick totally suits her look. I actually like the packaging of the Collection lipstick, normally in find cheaper brands packaging to be a bit tacky looking or flimsy but I don't mind this one. I think it's identical to Up The Amp in colour and finish to be perfectly honest! I would say that it doesn't last half as well on the lips as the MAC lipstick but you don't mind reapplying a lipstick that's a fifth of the price! Both the products are really creamy and moisturising on the lips but again, I find that the moisture lasts a longer from the MAC formula but reapplying the Collection lippy does the trick.

All in all, I'd definitely recommend this as a dupe- let me know what you think! Thanks for stopping by x

Loving Lilac Lipsticks.

Lilac lipsticks: MAC Lavendar Whip (creamsheen); Illamasqua lipstick in Posture; Maybelline Color Whisper in Oh La Lilac; Topshop lipstick in On The Town.

My new obsession is with purple and lilac lips- probably because I've got lilac ombré hair and also I like being a bit different! I've currently got four lilac lipsticks but they're all very different and unique. MAC Lavendar Whip (from the Baking Beauties collection last year) is a super creamy pinky lilac that you can wear either quite sheer or build up so it's bolder. It's a super pretty lilac and I think you can get away with wearing this on a day to day basis. On the other end of the scale however, is Illamasqua lippie in Posture. this is the most beautiful matte mauvey Lavendar ever! It's actually my fave lipstick at the moment! It's deffo not for the faint hearted but I love how bold and unusual it is and the formula is super creamy considering it's a matte finish.

I got some Maybelline Color Whispers off eBAy from America after seeing loads of US bloggers raving about them. In my opinion, they're more pigmented versions of the Revlon Lip Butters and L'oreal Rouge Caresses. The Topshop lilac On The Town is much more of a floro-bright pinky lilac. I guess from the swatches this looks like the truest lilac of the four in my collection. Send any lilac lippy recommendations my way, they'd be much appreciated to satiate my current obsession! Thanks for stopping by x

My MAC Lipstick Collection.

MAC lipsticks in Hue (glaze); Budding Love (lustre); Viva Glam Nicki (satin); Rebel (satin); Chatter Box (amplified); Flamingo (lustre); Lavendar Whip (creamsheen).

I haven't got the biggest MAC lipstick collection but these are some of my favourite lipsticks of all my lip products. I love the packaging of MAC lipsticks and each of the formulas that I've tried are wonderful in their own way. I also love the scent of MAC lipsticks- is that weird?! Some of my collection were from limited collections- Flamingo for example was from the All About Orange Collection. Lavendar Whip has to be my favourite of all my MAC lipsticks- it's g the prettiest lilac tone and it's quite unusual. I used to love Hue which was my first MAC product but I've fallen out of love with it recently, mim not sure it suits me all that much! These won't be the last of my lipsticks from MAC I can tell you that for free! Please comment me with any MAC lipstick recommendations- especially reds I need a new red lippy! Thanks for stopping by x

Illamasqua Lipstick in Posture.

Illamasqua Lipstick in Posture (£16.50).

For Christmas I was given a Selfridges voucher off my wonderful grandparents, so I headed straight for the beauty hall to get myself some new lipstick. I actually wanted to go and get some new MAC lipsticks but the staff in there were so rude I thought "why should I give you my money when you can't even talk to me like a human being?!". So I trotted over to the Illamasqua counter to get myself some goodies. Illamasqua is a brand that I've never tried before but I've always been intrigued by the dark gothicy feel to the counter and packaging and the makeup artists always look a bit alternative and have flawless makeup! I said I wanted a new lipstick, maybe a purple one. The makeup artist tried Posture and ESP separately and then ombred them together- I was sold!

I love the sleek black packaging of the Illamasqua lipsticks, it's classy and simple. Posture is the most beautiful mauve lilac shade; it's definitely not for the faint hearted but I am in love! I was initially worried because it's a matte finish and sometimes that can mean a drying chalky formula. However, it's super creamy and smooth on the lips. The makeup artist said that the lipsticks are super pigmented and he was right! It's super opaque on the lips and doesn't fade as the day wares on. I'm totally in love with this lipstick and love how it matches my lilac hair! Have you tried any Illamasqua lipsticks? Let me know any recommendations in the comments below! Thanks for stopping by x

MAC Lipstick in Flamingo.

MAC Lustre Lipstick in Flamingo (£14, from MAC).

So I made a conscious effort to avoid the new MAC All About Orange collection because orange is my least favourite of all the colours on this earth. But then I go to London and spot this bad boy by the name of Flamingo. Wowzers. This is my first ever Lustre finish lipstick from MAC; I'm not mega familiar with the difference between the finishes but for my benefit (and anyone else who's baffled) I've found this definition online:

"Demi-sheer with wet-look lustre finish. Very slick. Makes lips look soft, smooth and ultra-moist."

Flamingo is the most perfect combination of a peach-pink coral tone. I love the Lustre finish, it's definitely demi-sheer unlike say a Creamsheen finish which is really flat, block colour. I was surprised how much it shows up on my pigmented lips but I've found that because it's a little sheer, it's much more forgiving than a Creamsheen when my lips aren't in the best condition. Chatterbox has got competition guys, Flamingo is fast becoming my favourite.

In a nutshell: It's MAC. It's Lustre finish. It's the most perfect demi-sheer coral shade. Love.

MAC Lipstick in Chatterbox.

MAC Amplified Creme Lipstick in Chatterbox (£14 from MAC).

Oh MAC, why do your lipsticks slay me? When I bought my last MAC lippy in Rebel (review here), my chum bought Chatterbox and I enviously fell in love- with the lipstick, not my friend (sorry love). I told myself that it would be the next MAC lipstick I treated myself to, and here we are. As always, MAC lipsticks are beautifully and classically packaged and the lipstick smells of sweet vanilla which I love! This is my first Amplified Creme lipstick from MAC and I have to say, I'm loving the formulation. It has a velvety creamy formula which glides on the lips and lasts really well.

The colour pay-off is great, I find that all my MAC lipsticks look the same on the lips as they do in the bullet. Chatterbox is a beautiful mid-toned rose pink without any shimmer or frost to it. I have really pigmented lips and teamed with my pale complexion, chalky baby pinks don't do anything for me at all! I think Chatterbox is a really good alternative as you get that Spring light pink look without looking like a corpse. I always find that MAC lipsticks are super long-lasting and aren't at all drying on the lips. I can for sure see this becoming a handbag favourite as it's so wearable.

In a nutshell: Such a beautiful pink in the soft velvety Amplified formula, add this to your MAC wishlist ladies!

MAC Lipstick in Rebel.

MAC Lipstick in Rebel (£14 from MAC).

During the winter months there was a lot of hype about MAC lipstick in Plumful. I really wanted to try it and after months of avoiding MAC (to save my purse from emptiness) I finally caved and, convinced by a friend, I tried it on in store. Well, I didn't like it. I don't know if I'd built it up to be something it wasn't or it simply just didn't suit my (pale) complexion. I told the MAC lady that I'd expected Plumful to be more pink toned than it was and so she recommended I try out Rebel. I instantly fell in love and ran straight to the till to buy it!

I'm not a mega-MAC nerd but I do happen to know that their Satin finish lipsticks have high impact colour with a (you guessed it) satin finish. I like the packaging of MAC lipsticks and I love the sweet vanilla scent of their lipsticks. Rebel looks much darker in the bullet than it does on the lips- it is a rich, raspberry plum shade. It lasts a good few hours before fading but you know what?- I don't mind when it fades because it leaves a beautiful berry coloured stain behind which looks lovely. I'm so glad I bought this lipstick- it's definitely filled a gap in my lip product collection! What's your favourite MAC lipstick?

In a nutshell: The perfect plum lipstick- skip Plumfull- it's all about Rebel!

Laura Geller Anti-Ageing Lipstick.

Laura Geller Colour Enriched Anti-Ageing Lipstick in Rosato ($21 from Laura Geller*).

*I purchased this lipstick as part of The Beauty of the Vine Collection by Laura Geller from QVC UK, it's not available separately in UK but it is in USA.

Laura Geller may be a brand that is unknown to many UK bloggers and makeup fans as it's only available here from QVC UK (you can browse products here). My first purchase from the brand was the Beauty of the Vine Collection, a six piece collection inspired by and infused with anti-ageing ingredients from grapes. The Colour Enriched Anti-Ageing Lipstick has a sleek sturdy black packaging with high-shine silver detail. I love how the bullet has 'Love Laura' and a heart etched into it- although it kind of made me not want to use it and spoil it! I think it just adds that extra special touch that makes it look more expensive and high-end.

The lipstick itself is super soft, smooth and moisturising on the lips. Rosato is a really wearable pink berry shade which can be built up to be dark and vampy. The hydrating element of this lipstick is much longer wearing than any other lipstick I've worn before. When the lipstick does start to fade after a good few hours, it leaves behind a really subtle stain that I personally like. This has been rotating its way in and out of my handbag constantly since I bought it. I like how it can be both daytime and really striking at the same time.

In a nutshell: Beautiful berry toned super hydrating lipstick with great staying power.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in 04 Rose Tweed (£7.99, currently £5.99 from Boots).

The launch of the Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipsticks sent bloggers into makeup meltdown. I've seen some of the shades reviewed and bloggers have been loving the formula and finish of these new lipsticks. So what's taken me so long to get involved? Well, it seems they've been selling too well as I've not been able to get my hands on any of the shades I fancied trying. Until now.

I love the sleek black packaging of the Rouge Edition lipsticks; the red and pink logo makes it a bit different and I love that you can see the colour of the product in the base. The shade range is extensive with around 17 shades available, I personally didn't know where to start! When I swatched 04 Rose Tweed on the back of my hand I knew it was the one for me. It's the ultimate everyday peachy rose shade that compliments any outfit and any makeup look. The formula is super soft, smooth and creamy and feels really hydrating on the lips. The colour pay-off is great and the colour itself is really long lasting. The one thing I have found with this lipstick is that the colour remains on the lips whilst the finish and texture of the lipstick fades fairly quick after 3-4hours or so. It's quite hard to explain really but I had to reapply the product several times throughout the day to regain that creamy, hydrating lipstick feeling. Overall, I really like this lipstick and I think it's got a really nice formula, it's just a shame it doesn't last a bit longer. However, I can see myself wearing this shade a lot as it's super easy to wear and goes with everything. I would definitely consider picking up another Rouge Edition, maybe in a brighter shade, maybe in 07 or 12.

In a nutshell: Stunning everyday colour in a creamy soft formula, but it's a shame it doesn't last.

p.s Happy Mother's Day UK readers!

Payday Wishlist.

Yes, it's another wishlist guys! I've actually spent a fair amount on makeup this month (yes, the 100day challenge went out of the window) so I've decided to hold back on these guys until after payday. I've been lusting after some Asian makeup brands recently so I've trawled ebay to find some to call my own. I'm loving the look of this Etude House blusher, the problem is, I can't decide which shade I want most! I really like the look of #2 Strawberry Chou (that rhymes). All I can say about this Tony Moly mascara is holy cat! I love the packaging and aside from that, it's actually meant to be a good mascara.

I'm currently awaiting the delivery of my US imports of the Maybelline Color Whisper lipsticks which are meant to be the Maybelline equivalent of Lip Butters. However, on the other end of the scale, Maybelline have just launched (in the UK) their Colour Sensational Vivid lipsticks and me oh my they look good! I'm particularly loving the look of Shocking Coral, check out the lovely Sunday Girl's post for swatches. I lovelove the packaging of this Etude House highlighter- what girl wouldn't feel like a princess with this on her dressing table?! However, I do think that £16+ is a bit excessive for a highlighter that I don't actually need. I've heard so many good things about Asian BB Creams and this Holika Holika one has a cat on the tube so I'm sold! Finally, I'd love to get my hands on some of the new Bourjois Rouge Edition lipsticks, especially shades 02, 03 and 11. What's on your payday wishlist?

Marry Me.

Dress (£48); Hat (£25); Shoes (£75); Earrings (£15); Lipstick in Macaroon (£8) all from Topshop.

Apologies for a lack of posts this week- I've just started my new job so I've been training away all week like a lil worker bee. I'm going to try and get back on it asap but I'm afraid I have little in the way of new products atm so I may have to get creative!

Sorry if you don't like wishlist compilation posts but I've not got any money to spend on anything other than Christmas presents and petrol atm, so I'm lusting after pretty much everything these days. Just look at this dress- oh it's so pretty! I think this would be stunning in both winter and summer as it's got that Victorian elven princess look to it. I love the embroidery detail on this dress too- should I stop talking about the dress now? Pretty much everything apart from the lipstick here is massively over priced but it's Topshop and that's just what they do.

I lovelovelove these boots. I want them so bad! I think they'd go with everything all year round everyday all the time- is that justification enough?! I really like these earrings as I think they're modern meets vintage with the perspex and pearl combo. But I think these would be pretty easy to replicate DIY tbh. I'm inlove with this lipstick in Macaroon, not only is the name ace but the colour is stunning. I love the formulation of Topshop lipsticks, I've also found one in shade Depth that I really want to get my hands on. But, alas, they will not be mine. Hope y'all are having a nice weekend full of Christmasy joy!
