Shopping the Stash- I've not done this for agesssss! There's loads of products that I love and then something new comes along and it gets pushed to the back of the drawer and forgotten about- sound familiar? I've rediscovered some old favourites of mine recently and thought I'd share them with you.

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter- I remember loving this because it's super subtle and not at all glittery or gold. It's the most beautiful pink pearl shade and I love the imprint in the powder. I'm not going to use this every day as I don't like wearing highlighter to work but I'll deffo be sporting it when I'm on my days off.

MaxFactor CC Cream- this was my first CC Cream and after liking the new Bourjois one I thought I'd crack this one out for comparison. I remember it being really light but giving good coverage and lasting really well. It's also got a matte finish which is a must for me!

Dainty Doll Cream Blusher in 001- I'm really sorry I can't remember the name for this shade and it's not written on the compact! I've felt ready for a more Springy blush and this baby pink matte cream blush is perfect for work and play! It lasts all day and doesn't move on my face half way through the day. It's already made it's way into my makeup bag.

Soap & Glory Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Quad- I was totally reminded of this when I watched a beauty YouTube video recently and thought I'd dig it out. It's the perfect everyday eyeshadow palette and my fave shade has to be the matte nude shade it's a great base!

MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter.

MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter (£3 from MUA and Superdrug). 

Just let's take a moment to stare at this highlighter and sigh. How beautiful is this product? And no it's not your Dior or your Chanel mega-expensive product, it's super bargainous high-street brand MUA. I bought this highlighter on the current 3for2 MUA face products offer when I also bought their latest Undress Your Skin Foundation. In keeping with the on-trend naked skin look, this highlighter offers a beautifully subtle shimmer to give your skin that ultimate nude finish. I love the silky rippled effect imprinted onto the surface of this powder highlighter- it makes it look so much more expensive and luxurious!

As you can see, this is a pink blush based powder with a silver shimmer highlighter- this creates a non-glittery iridescent shimmer across the skin which isn't at all glamour-girl sparkly, which I know can put a lot of people off using highlighter. I've been loving using this to highlight my cheeks and my brow-bones and I can absolutely get away with wearing this for work, that's how natural-looking it is. You actually get a lot of product for your money and a little goes a real long way. I actually can't believe this only costs £3!!!! Overall, you have to try this out even if you typical avoid highlighters, give it a go and it will probs change your mind!

In a nutshell: Beautiful subtle pink silver shimmer highlighter for a bargain £3.

MUA Undress Your Skin Foundation.

MUA Undress Your Skin Foundation in Porcelain (£5, from Superdrug). 

The world of natural/naked skin opened up to me when I first tried the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation. I saw that the new MUA face products were on 3for2 in Superdrug so I thought I'd give some of their new launches a go. Their Undress Your Skin range claims to give a natural, glowing finish to your skin. I love the packaging of this foundation with the purple-stone coloured tube which is super easy for dispensing product in a controlled way. 

The foundation itself is quite a runny fluid and glides onto the skin, providing a light-medium coverage with a natural finish. It's one of those foundations that isn't matte but isn't super wet-looking either, it just gives that natural dewy glow. Now usually a bargain brand make their lighter shades too orangey for my skin but Porcelain is the most beautiful buttery ivory which suits my skin perfectly. I actually can't believe how good this foundation is considering it's only £5! It covers my redness, pores and blemishes and sets evenly without looking cakey. It lasts all through the day which I wasn't expecting for a bargain foundation- I literally couldn't believe it! This foundation feels super light on the skin and my pores don't feel clogged up with product. I'd definitely recommend this foundation for makeup beginners and beauty lovers alike!

In a nutshell: Beautiful, natural looking finish light-medium coverage foundation that lasts all day long and only costs £5!!

Wowzers, I've not done a haul for ages! I think it's because I normally just buy a couple of things here and there but this lot I bought over two shopping sessions over two days so I thought I'd throw them all together to make a haul. Apart from the two Avon items, everything is from Superdrug. The store near me had some unreal deals on when I went on Tuesday!!! They had 'buy one get one half price' on all Real Techniques brushes so I got the Stippling Brush for myself and then the Expert Face Brush for a friend. They had £2 off the new MaxFactor CC Cream, which isn't actually available in Boots yet, and £2 off Revlon Lip Butters so I thought I'd try out one of their new shades. I wasn't that enamoured with my first Lip Butter purchase back when they launched in the UK last year but my boyfriend's mum has been wearing them religiously lately so I decided maybe my last colour choice was the issue. I've gone for Juicy Papaya which looks like the perfect summery coral shade. 

The final crazy deal that Superdrug had on was 3for2 on all new MUA face products so I thought I'd try out their new Undress Your Skin Foundation and Highlighter. I got two of the highlighters as I got one for a chum to try. I didn't fancy any of the concealer kits particularly but the foundation swatched really nice so I'm looking forward to trying it out. MUA Nail Constellation in Gemini.

MUA Nail Constellation in Gemini (£3 from MUA and Superdrug). 

So we all saw the Ciate Caviare manicure and to be honest, I never thought it would be replicated on the high street for such a low price- but MUA saved the day and got in there before anyone else. MUA is a bargain makeup brand available in most Superdrug stores and also online with some of their product gems including their Professional Eye Primer and their bargain blushers. 

MUA's Nail Constellations are available in five shades named after star constellations. The packaging is custom made to make application as simple as possible with a funnel-type lid for use in both application and returning excess back to the pot (waste not want not). I picked up Gemini which is made up of silver, rose gold, purple and teal hundreds and thousands style balls. Each product comes with mini instructions for application- essentially you apply onto wet nail varnish (so it'd be best to finish one nail before moving on to the next) and gently press to ensure they stay put. Although slightly messy, this product is really easy to use once you know how and I personally love the jewel-encrusted look that it gives. Nail art is so on-trend these days and I don't think it gets much simpler than this- you don't need a steady hand or artistic skills to create a super cool nail art effect. It's just like jewellery for your nails! 

I didn't realise how little of this product you actually need to cover one nail! I thought for £3 that it wouldn't go very far but I can see this lasting me ages. I can't wait to get my hands on some of the other shades, especially Libra which is predominantly black and for £3, why shouldn't I have them all? I'd be interested to see if they create any more shades in the future. I personally struggled to get my hands on this in Superdrug but they're available online if you wanna check them out (do it!).
