I will admit, I bought this by accident, oops. I thought I was picking up a new Rimmel eyeliner but this was on the stand- but I'm so glad it was! This is a chunky, thick angled eyeliner that is amazing to use. I really like the monochrome packaging it doesn't need to be anything fancy for an eyeliner. This has to be the easiest eyeliner to use...ever. I would so recommend this for beginners because it basically does all the work for you. The formula of the liner is nice and black but isn't so wet that you get transfer on the crease of your eyes. There's not much more I could say about this other than I'd totally recommend it! Maybelline Color Drama Lipstick.

Maybelline Color Drama Lipstick in Nude Perfection (£4.99, Boots and Superdrug).

The makeup world has become obsessed with Kylie Kardashian's 90s nude overdrawn lips and they've become somewhat of a makeup Holy Grail. She reportedly uses a MAC combo of a lip pencil in Soar and lipstick in Velvet Teddy- but I've found the one that works for me! Moving on from the chubby stick generation of lip products- which has been done to death- pencil crayons seem to be the new in thing. 

Maybelline Color Drama Lipsticks are really simply packaged- which is a bt underwhelming and initially led to me giving them a miss when I first saw them. However, this lippy is definitely a case for 'substance over style' which is more than fine by me! The matte creamy formula is amazingly hydrating without being glossy or wet. The best thing about this product? It lasts allllllllll day long! Seriously, this has some staying power my friends. Nude Perfection is one of ten shades available in this product- as you can see from the lip swatch, it's a lovely peachy nude that's very 90s and subsequently is very now. I love this product and can't believe it passed me by! What I Did This Week #35.

The weeks are flying by since I started working Mon-Fri 9-5! I've had another busy week this week- I've been back at work this week after my initial two week block at uni. I've had quite a girly week including a night out wi my chums from my old job on Friday night which was lovely. I hope you've all had a lovely week xx

Olay Total Effects Pore Minimizer CC Cream.

Olay Total Effects Pore Minimizer CC Cream (£14.99, Boots and Superdrug).

All I need to see are the words 'pore minimiser' on a product and it goes straight into my basket. Being an oily skinned dame, I struggle with big open pores- especially on my nose and chin; and they get clogged up so quickly. Olay isn't a Skincare brand that I buy from because most of their products are focused around anti-ageing benefits. It's a little on the pricey side for my usual Skincare tastes but I bought it on offer in Superdrug for £9.99. 

This CC Cream is available in three shades- fair to light, light to medium and medium to dark; I went for the lightest shade which perfectly compliments my pale complexion. This product makes big claims friends: evens skin tone appearance; minimises the look of pores; enhances brightness; visibly smooths fine lines and wrinkles; reduces the look of spots; hydrates for a firm look; replenishes moisture. I'd definitely agree that this CC Cream covers and minimises the appearance of pores and evens out the colour of your skin. It gives a super light coverage but provides a stunning base for your makeup. I really like the way this product smells- is that weird?- it smells quite fruity and fresh. It's got a light air whipped texture that feels like a moisturiser on application. It's also got SPF15 which is a great bonus for the skin. I'd deffo recommend this and I continue to enjoy using it! Afternoon Tea.

I just thought I'd share with you my afternoon tea tray which I treated myself to on Sunday. I was home alone while my fella was out with his friends so I treated myself to a girly afternoon on watching The Great British Bakeoff and drinking tea out of my Royal Albert china. Topshop Nails in Port De Bras (£6, Topshop).

I have found my favourite light nail shade for AW14 guys. Port De Bras is the most stunning dusty rose, blush pink shade. I would recommend doing three thin coats for full coverage as two coats just isn't quite enough (for me at least). I'm a mega massive fan of Topshop makeup and especially of their nail varnishes! Katy Perry for Eylure False Eyelashes in Lovely Lolita (£5.95, Boots).

I've developed an obsession with these lashes, just to warn you. I wanted to find some falsies that were suitable for everyday wear but still adding thickness and drama. Oh how fussy I am! I went to the kings and queens of lashes- Eylure is my go-to brand for eyelashes. My false lash collection has always consisted of the thickest most ridiculous lashes so these are a nice change for me. I'm not a fan of Katy Perry herself but she has got a lovely collection of lashes with Eylure.

These lashes feel sturdy whilst remaining flexible and natural looking. They don't feel plastic-y or stabby like some cheap lashes do! I love using the Revlon Precision Dark Eyelash Glue with these as it blends better with my standard liquid eyeliner look. I've worn these four time so far and they look good as new! They're like 'my lashes but better' so they're not mega long or flared. These are definitely the nicest, lightest lashes I've ever worn and I'd definitely recommend them. What I Did This Week #34.

Another week ticked off my friends! I've been a busy bee again this week, with five days of uni and lots of lovely socialising with friends and family! I chanced upon a student lock-in at the Trafford Centre on Tiesday night so it was bargains all round for me.
