Working Week #2.

Another week of fashion selfies guys! I've been at uni every day this week starting my new course which I'll be doing alongside my new job. I've been loving dressing super girly this week but I've not got it 100% right in terms of being dressed for the weather! It's been super warm most of this week but it's cool in the mornings and commuting is a temperature rollercoaster! Anyway, here's what I've been wearing...

MONDAY-

Dress- Vintage; Jacket- M&S (way old); Shoes- Topshop (old).

TUESDAY-

Tshirt- Primark; Faux Leather Skirt- Warehouse; Coat- Primark; Shoes- New Look.

WEDNESDAY-

Tshirt- M&S; Skirt- Primark; Shoes- Schuh.

(Sorry I forgot to photograph Thursdays outfit!)

FRIDAY-

Dress- Primark; Shoes- M&S.

Working Week.

Clockwise from top left: dress- Simply Be; top and skirt co-ords- Sainsburys; top and skirt- Dorothy Perkins, jacket- M&S; top- George, pants- M&S.

Top- George; Pants- M&S; Bag- Simply Be; Shoes- M&S.

So I started my new job on Monday which was super nerve-wracking and exciting at the same time. In my old job I lived in black pants and baggy tops but in my new job I can dress all girly and nice yayyyyy! I've been stepping out in style in my fave skirts and dresses favouring a 50s office-girl style. As part of my job I'll be going to uni one day a week which is super exciting cause I'm a geek! I dressed down for uni this week going for an all black ensemble. I'm I love with this black top- you can't see very well but the roses print is velvet so it's got a lovely texture.

I'm thinking of making this a bit of a weekly feature- let me know what you think in the comments below! Thanks for stopping by x

Pikachu!

Top- New Look
Skirt- Warehouse
Shoes- M&S Limited Collection
Necklace- H&M
Bag- Primark

I honestly feel like a Japanese cartoon character with my hair like this! Following with the 50s style skirt theme, I decided to wear this leather-look skirt with this monochrome check tshirt. I love these shoes but I'm sad I won't be able to wear them much longer with the autumn weather rolling in. I've felt super girly wearing these skirts this weekend. Freddie crashed my photo session so I thought it was only fair we had a snap together. Thanks for stopping by x

I'm back in business. I am falling in love with fashion all over again and starting my new job this week has got me super excited about wearing lovely clothes! For my previous job I had to wear black pants and baggy tshirts- deffo comfort over style 6days a week. Now I'm gonna go full throttle and aim to be the most fashionable female in the office. I'm enjoying planning outfits rather than trying on all my clothes and disregarding them on a massive pile on my bed lol. I'm totally loving all the longer hemlines that are available on the high street atm- they suit me far better than short dresses and skirts. I'm in love with this skirt it's got a super 50s feel go it.I hope you're all OK- thanks for stopping by x

Rings- Primark and QVC

I know I recently posted about this co-ord duo but that was me trying them on in the changing rooms so I've decided it's acceptable to post it again as a proper outfit post hehe. I just love them loads- I love how together they look like a dress but I totally can't wait to wear them on their own. I wore this to go shopping with my mum and dragged her into taking photos for me.

This week has been totally weird! After being told our landlord wants to sell our house he's now changed his mind so we're staying for now! I've also got a new job which I'll be starting in September which is SO exciting I cannot wait! I hope you're all OK, thanks for stopping by x

This Old Dress.

Dress- charity shop
Shoes- Topshop
Necklace- Primark

Inspired by the new Dawn O'Porter TV series, This Old Thing, I found myself in a charity shop buying myself a dress. For £6 I felt like I didn't have much to lose and when I tried it on at home it fit really well. I thought I'd share it with you but as I've not worn it yet I've photographed it with some shoes and a necklace that I'm planning on wearing it with. I think this is a bit of an 'old lady' dress but I think I can make it a bit more me with some quirky accessories. Let me know what you think, thanks for stopping by x

Co-ords.

Top (£18) and Skirt (£16) both from Tu at Sainsburys.

Say what you will about supermarket clothes but you cannot argue with this combo from Sainsburys. It's actually part of a four piece set with a dress, trousers, top and skirt available in the same pattern.
I've been yearning for a co-ord set to suit me all SS14 season but most involve shorts or tailored trousers which don't suit my bootyliscious figure. The obvious benefit of co-ords is that two pieces can be worn fashionably both together and seperately- I think when worn together they look like a 50s style dress but I'm really looking forward to wearing this Peter Pan collar top with jeggings and pumps for a dressed down look. It's funny because blue isn't a colour I normally go for but I think this ensemble is divine. Let me know what you think- thanks for stopping by x

Once More Round The Sun.

Top- Topshop (super old)
Skirt- Primark
Bag- H&M
Shoes- Melissa via Schuh
Sunglasses- Primark

Love this outfit. If i do say do myself! I managed to get my mum to take some outfit photos for me whilst we were out shopping and I really like the natural lighting. My mum took about a million photos cause she just kept pressing the screen on my iphone but I really like some of the 'bloopers' so I've included a couple in this post! My mum treated me to some new things whilst we were shopping. It's my birthday next week so I've got a couple of lil outfits to be getting on with for next week. My hair desperately needs dying- I've managed to rearrange so my chum Lindsay is gonna dye it on Monday for me. I hope you're all OK, thanks for stopping by x

Nights In White Satin.

Dress- Topdhop
Coat- Primark
Bag- Primark
Leggings- Primark
Shoes- Topshop
Ring- Primark
Sunglasses- Primark

I've fallen in love with my new Primark coat- I just think it looks so classic, like a wardrobe staple. I love the contrast between the beige body and the faux leather sleeves; the trench style is super flattering too. I also love this clutch bag, it's so Marc Jacobs it's not even funny! Again, this piece feels really classic and monochrome is a failsafe for going with all kinds of outfits. I think this dress is cursed- everytime I wear it I get food on it which isn't something I ever do! I felt really 'fashionable' in this outfit like a trendy Wendy lol.

I wore this dress TODAY when I went to play out with my friend Dany. We went to a lovely little Mediterranean restaurant for din dins and did a small bit of shopping (that's not like me :p). I bought a pair of black creepers in the sale- I've got some but the Dalmatian print means they don't go with everything, particularly patterned clothes. And for £6 in the sale, I can't go wrong tbh. Sorry but you'll be seeing a lot more of this coat in the future! I hope you're all OK. Thanks for stopping by x
