MaxFactor Colour Corrector Stick- Corrects Under Eye Circles (£9.99, from Boots).

These Colour Corrector Sticks have been floating around in magazines for months now, way before they were even released. They're finally here and I got my hands on the yellow one which is for correcting under eye circles. Being a busy bee working three jobs, as you can imagine, I'm super tired all the time and this rakes it's toll on my under eye area. I want something to brighten and conceal the area without being super shimmery or cakey. This is totally a Holy Grail product for me.

The MaxFactor Colour Corrector Sticks have the most gorgeous packaging in pastel chunky crayon form. The formula of the concealer itself is super creamy yet light and not at all cakey, it blends super easily into a powdery finish. The yellow shade is perfect for combating purple under eye bags (think of your Primary school colour wheel guys) and it has a super subtle highlighting effect without being at all shimmery or glittery. I don't use conventional concealer anymore, just this bad boy! The Colour Corrector Sticks are available in five shades in total for different concerns but I totally want the one for correcting redness. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below! New Kate Moss for Rimmel Launches.

Kate Moss for Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks in 33 and 28 (£5.49 each) and Scandaleyes Shadow Stick in Deep Amythest (£4.49; from Superdrug). 

Some brand new collab products have landed on Superdrug shelves in the form of Rimmel and Kate Moss mascaras, eyeliners, eyeshadows and lipsticks. I made a purchase, taking advantage of Superdrug's 3for2 offer, getting two of the new lipstick shades and an eyeshadow crayon. I'm not a fan of Kate Moss, I've bought these totally based on my liking of Rimmel products and these alluring new shades. Firstly, I love the packaging of these products, they're super simple and sleek yet stand out on the shelves from other products. 

Lasting Finish Lipsticks are super creamy and moisturising in formulation whilst giving great colour payoff and last well on the lips. I must say- I find that I have to reapply these ones a lot more than the Matte formula of the Kate Moss lipsticks but that's not too much of an issue for a £5-odd lippy! Shade 33 is a super wearable mid-toned Barbie pink and 28 is very similar but has more coral undertones. 

Scandaleyes Shadow Stick in Deep Amythest is quite simply stunning!

Collection Extreme Eyeliner Pens.

I've had these for absolutely ages but I've not got round to blogging about them! I'm officially in love with the black eyeliner and I've literally used it everyday since I bought it. The Collection Extreme Eyeliner Pens are felt-tip liquid liners which are super easy to use, even for eyeliner beginers! The felt tip comes to a really thin point- perfect for making precise feline flicks! It's neither watery nor thick, the formula is just perfect for producing bold black lined eyes. The best thing about these eyeliners is that they're super cheap! I actually prefer these to the Maybelline Master Precise I used to use alt time. Let me know what you think! Topshop Lipsticks in Petal and Straight Ace.

Topshop Lipsticks in Petal and Straight Ace (£8 each, Topshop).

In my never ending quest for purple lipsticks, I stumbled upon these two new a Topshop lippies; one of which fulfilled my brief! I love Topshop makeup and I think their lipsticks are awesome for the price.one thing I noticed on the boxes was that these two lipsticks have different finishes- creamy and velvet, which I'd never realised before. The packaging is metal which is a bit unusual and the white means they get dirty really easily however, I personally really like their packaging.

Petal is a lovely peachy pinky nude which ordinarily wouldn't suit me but I think this one does! It's just boardering on the right side of pale giving more of a 1960s Bardot look rather than a corpse-girl look. It's super creamy and it lasts really well on the lips. It's got good coverage and opacity which is a must for me. On the other end of the colour spectrum is Straight Ace which is a stunning bright purple. It reminds me of Heroine or Up the Amp by MAC. Again, this is really opaque and creamy on the lips and lasts really well. Check out me wearing them in the pics below- their colours are totally true to the bullet. What I Did This Week #13.

1. Outfits, outfits, outfits- I've been loving clothes and putting together this last week, not all of which have been entirely weather appropriate! Oops. I'm sick of the crappy weather, I just want it to be dry so I can wear nice shoes and pretty dresses!

2. Work, work, work- I've been working loads again this last week, I've actually become an Avon representative which is super exciting! I've got to have my first order in on Friday so I'm a bit nervous but also excited at the same time. 

3. Family time- I've spent a lot of time with my family this week which is nice because I don't get to see them that much from working etc.

Benefit Big Easy.

 

Benefit Big East Better Than BB in Fair (£23.52 from QVCuk.com).

Benefit is a bit of a love/hate brand for me. I think 9 times out of 10 they're products are examples of style over substance, with their unique and appealing packaging but I often find their products lacking in quality. I've even had makeovers done at Benefit counters and have instantly gone to another brand's counter to get my makeup redone- bad right? But there's always so much hype about their products in the blogosphere it keeps me interested.

I've been intruiged by their new Big Easy foundation product which claims to be 'better than BB'. This oil-free base is meant to cover imperfections, correct discolouration and provide a flawless matte base. As always with Benefit, I really like the packaging and the squeezy tube is perfect for controlling how much product you want to dispense. I love that it has SPF 35, it's a pretty rare find and I like spraying pale thanks! I went for Fair which is perfect for pale skinned girls like myself- not a hint of orange in sight! The consistency is like a CC Cream so it's not at all runny but it's not thick like a foundation either. It applies really well- I find using my fingers is better than a brush or sponge with this one- and it does give a flawless matte finish. But this is where the love-in ends.

Although this looks lovely when first applied, it doesn't stay that way for long. As the day wears on, it separates really easily and is horrendous on dry patches. It seems to thin throughout the day and at the end of my 12hour shifts, it looks like I've not even got any face makeup on! This is such a disappointment and I'm so glad I bought it from QVC so I can send it back and get a refund! Not for me, not sure who it is for because it's no good for oily or dry skin in my opinion. MAC Patentpolish Lip Pencil.

MAC Patentpolish Lip Pencil in PatentPink (£14.50, MAC).

Oh how I have been waiting to get my hands on this! I didn't want to order it online as I wanted to check it was lilacy in real life, I don't like online colour swatches! Not one to miss out on a trend, MAC have finally got round to developing a lipstick crayon product akin to the Clinique Chubby stick- but is so much more! 

The Patentpolish Lip Pencil is a super glossy opaque lip colour which is of the highest MAC standard. I personally think the packaging feels a little bit cheap- it's quite plasticy which on the plus side makes it lightweight but it just doesn't feel great. I like the coloured end of the pencil to match the colour of the product. PatentPink is a beautiful lilacy baby pink which isn't at all chalky; the colour payoff is awesome and the product is super opaque. This is just like a lipstick in it's texture, finish and opacity. One thing I love about this is that it has that MAC lipstick smell which I love and find so comforting! It lasts really well on the lips, just like one of their lippies.
