I've been nominated for the Liebster Blog Award by the lovely Vicki from Allthesimplethings- thank you so much lovey! I've been nominated for this award before but it's been a long while so I thought I'd do the post again and nominate some other girlies.

11 Things about me:

1. I am a proper cat lady and have five beautiful cats who live with my parents as I couldn't bring them with me when I moved out :[
2. I love painting, particularly portraits and flowers. 

3. I have nine piercings in total including my nose, lip, belly button and several ear piecings.

4. I want to go back to uni and do a doctorate.
5. I have three tattoos all done by Stewart Robson at Frith Street Tattoo in London.

6. I am an only child.

7. I hate football but I love rugby union.

8. I'm straight edge- I don't smoke, I don't drink and I don't do drugs.

9. I'm an avid meat eater.

10. I love cooking, especially currys!

1. Where do you see your blog in a years time?

I see it trundling along in the same direction tbh. I quite like the balance I've got with it at the minute with outfit posts, product reviews and other bits and bobs. 

2. Do you prefer to watch the film or read the book?

I love reading but since starting work, I'm usually too tired! I do like a good film though.

3. What city would you most like to visit?

I'd love to go to LA and get tattooed by Kat Von D.
4. What are your favorite blog posts to write?

I love product reviews because they're my favourite posts to read on other people's blogs.
5. What are your favorite posts to read? 

Haha, oops I've just answered that!

6. Do you work or are you at college or uni, and where?

I do indeed work in a hospital. I don't like to talk too much about work online tbh.
7. Do you play any instruments?

No, I'm the most tone-deaf, least musically talented person ever.
8. Have you ever been tempted to make YouTube videos (If you don't already)?

Yes, it's something I've been seriously considering recently!
9. What's your signature make up look/ day to day look (Photo's optional)?

I'm pretty lazy tbh, it usually involves loads of black eyeliner and a nude lip. 

10. How often do you check twitter/facebook/instagram?

I don't have instagram cause I have a Blackberry but twitter probs every 3/4 hours and facebook at most once a day.
11. If you could add whatever you wanted to a Domino's pizza, what would you choose?

Garlic sausage- I love garlic sausage on pizzas! Oooo or nacho cheese!

I've just got back from holiday today and found that I've been nominated for another Liebster Blog Award by the lovely lady from The Beauty Think Tank thank you so much!

11 Things About Me

1) I'm an only child.

2) I have 5, yes FIVE cats *crazy cat lady* called (in age order): Jess, Geddy, Moshi, Kat & Pyewacket.

3) I have just got a degree in Psychology.

4) I have visited 3 continents of the world.

5) I hate football. 

6) I'm left handed.

7) I don't eat anything that swims i.e fish or seafood, by choice not necessity. 

8) I'm an avid meat eater.

9) I never used to wear dresses or skirts and now I pretty much exclusively wear them.

10) I've been driving for over 3years (not continuously!).

Beauty Think Tank's Questions

1) If you could design your own beauty product, what would it be?

Probs a lipstick orrrrr an amazing eye palette. 

2) Would you rather be forced to wear full coverage foundation for a year or go without lipstick for a year?

Forced to wear full coverage foundation- this doesn't bother me at all! But no lipstick would make me sad :[

3) Do you like BB Creams or are they just hype?

I do like them for their ease and skincare benefits but some are really shiny so I go for oil-free ones.

4) Favorite season for makeup?

As in trends? Deffo winter, it's all about smoky, sultry, vampy looks.

5) Favorite drugstore/ high street beauty product?

Just one?!? I can't pick!

6) If you could do a makeup/ lookbook based on a country/ place what would it be and why?

This is an interesting question...I honestly have no idea. Maybe Paris because it evokes sophistication and simplicity.

7) If you could do the makeup of any Olympian who would it be and why?

Wowzers, erm maybe Laura Trott because she's got stunning blue eyes.

8) All time favorite song?

Can't pick one my friend. 

9) What is your favorite thing to blog about?  Not just makeup in general.

Probs skincare products because they're usually on the more expensive side so I want other's to know whether they're worth the hype or not.

10) What inspires you to blog?

Deffo other blogs and when people comment on my posts. Also, magazines and street style.

11) If you were on a deserted island what three things would you need to have with you?

Well I'm assuming that life-essentials are covered (i.e food, water, shelter etc) so probs my boyfriend, my slippers and my phone.

Beautiful Blogger Award.

The lovely Priya from One Product Too Many has nominated me for my first ever Beautiful Blogger Award- thank you so much lovely lady!

1. Tell us how the idea of making a blog popped up and what makes you continue it.

I guess it sort of started a few years ago when I started doing a fashion/beauty scrap book of clippings and things that I liked in magazines and I'd do themed pages etc. Then about a year ago now, I started read blogs regularly and eventually decided to give blogging a try. I originally started my blog on Tumblr but found that platform wasn't really suitable for what I wanted so moved over to Blogger around Easter time this year. I personally like blogs that are updated as much as possible so I basically try to make my blog reflect what I like in other blogs. I find blogging relaxing and love sharing my experiences with products with everyone because no one likes to be ripped off and we all love a good bargain!

2. Describe a usual day in your life.

Well I've just graduated from University so my days are currently filled with applying for jobs and whatnot. I spend a lot of time with my boyfriend as well.

3. Describe what having a blog means to you.

Like I said, I find blogging really relaxing and interesting so I guess in a way its a hobby that's just a change from studying or working. I never even thought people would like or read my blog but I'm so happy y'all do!

1. What is your current beauty obsession ?

Eyeshadow palettes! I never really used to wear eyeshadow but have been loving it since I started blogging and palettes are the natural progression.

2. What is the one beauty item you wished you owned ?

I lusted over Benefit Porefessional for agessss but I'd quite like an Urban Decay eyeshadow palette atm.

3. What are you favourite types of posts to read and write?

I love a thourough review and also skincare routine posts as I'm super nosey! haha.
