I've been using this for agesssss why haven't I reviewed this?! I'm so lazy when it comes to taking off my makeup- I'm not gonna lie at least 50% of the time I remove my makeup using Micellar water and eye makeup remover on cotton pads. However, the other 50% of the time, including every time I shower I use this bad boy. Through the blogosphere, I've heard of the Yes To range of products namely the Yes To Carrots Makeup Wipes but I didn't realise there were different fruit and veg ranges within the brand! 

The Yes To Tomatoes end of the range is aimed at combination skin as tomatoes, apparently, are a natural source of antioxidants. The Daily Clarifying Cleanser also contains Watermelon which is a nourishing fruit extract. The tube packaging is perfect for dispensary control and it looks really nice too- bonus. The cleanser itself is a thin gel like consistency which foams up like a dream when you apply it to your face. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and clean with my pores unclogged and yet-zone mattified. I'm totally a fan of this cleanser and I'd deffo recommend it for oily skinned girls. Avon Anew Vitale Starter Kit.

Avon Anew Vitale 14 Day System (£22 from Avon).

I'm a massive Avon fan but I've never really tried any of their skincare products. Their Anew range is full of age targeted products with anti-ageing properties from their Reversalist (40+) to Ultimate (50+) to their Platinum (60+) ranges; it's never really been appropriate for my young oily skin. However, Avon have recently launched the Anew Vitale (25+) range which is meant to target early signs of ageing and brighten dull tired skin. The products are all available in full sizes but at prices from £7.50-£19.50, I didn't really want to commit to a skincare range I've never tried before. Cue the Anew Vitale 14 Day System- a set complete with full size eye cream, 50ml gel cleanser and trial size day and night creams. 

I really like the packaging of these products- they look like high-end products whilst still appealing to a younger market with the pink packaging. I also like that the moisturisers come in glass tubs, even though they're only trial sizes. The Vitale Cleanser is a pink gel formula that melts into the skin upon application. This is the first gel cleanser I've ever used and I must say, I'm impressed. It was really cleansing whilst still being super hydrating and softening. A little goes a really long way with this cleanser so I reckon the full size 125ml (£7.50) tube would last you a long while. 

Next, the Vitale Eye Cream. Now, I'm pretty fussy when it comes to eye creams as I don't like it to leave a greasy, oily residue nor do I want it to sting or irritate my eyes. I typically go for eye gels as I find them to be much gentler than creams. I'd say that this Vitale Eye Cream leaves a little bit of a greasy residue on my eyes but my main concern is that the skin around my eyes doesn't feel any more hydrated or soft after using this product for two weeks. I much prefer to use my Soap & Glory Supereyes, Supereyes Eye Gel. 

My everyday day and night cream are the from the No7 Beautiful Skin for Oily/Normal skin range which I love. So how do the Anew Vitale moisturisers compare? Well, first off they have a really strong smell of salon shampoos which is really weird and off-putting. I don't like products with strong artificial smells any way but I'm really not a fan of the smell of these creams. The Day Cream is quite light in texture but feels quite heavy on the skin when you apply it- which makes me think it's more aimed at treating dry skin than oily skin. It doesn't mattify my skin in any way which is a big no-no for me. The Night Cream claims to be a gel cream but I find it to be a similar consistency to the Day Cream tbh. Overall, I'm not impressed with this Starter Kit but I think it would be good for someone with dry/flaky skin as it is really hydrating. I'm so glad I only paid £9.99 when it was on offer!

In a nutshell: Not impressed- the Gel Cleanser is the only product I like but this kit is definitely not one for oily skinned ladies like myself!
